It is Cassandra complex on steroids. I am used to being surrounded by idiots who can’t see where things are going. This feels like a car going off a cliff and I’m way in the back while everyone else is ignoring the driver intentionally drive us off the cliff.

And a lot of us saw that capitalism would inevitably lead to this as monopolistic corporations carved out more and more political power. But of course democrats would never want to be seen as anti-business so they did nothing about the monopolies, just kept making it rain with government contracts
