Thank you! I started saying it as an opposition to purely theoretical morality, which I find is growing more common with online "slacktivism" style spirituality and politics being many people's introduction to religion and ethics these days, especially younger people.

I don't feel any of the panic a lot of other people do because I see the future as being one in which people come to realize religion *does* improve their lives & *can* improve society, if we actually mean our values as Jesus gave them. The modern world does have a lot of emptiness & selfishness
