people who have their phone set so that every notification they get turns their music down for two seconds: how does your brain function so, so differently from mine

Omgg same, i hate notifs. If i have to have them theyre delivered silently, otherwise theyre off. Even my morning alarm, its only ever on vibrate. Calls, silent or vibrate, never have any social media push notifs lol
Also i wouldnt want my music to be inturrupted- id rather just pause it if need be
i have as many notifications that i can turned off on my phone, so i only occasionally see the occasional text or call. do occasionally feel a bit bad when I see a message that was sent hours ago that i just never noticed (usually when i double check my phone before going to bed or after waking up).
I didn't know this was an option I could actually turnoff!! It's so annoying when I have my speaker on the shower and I'm really enjoying the music and then someone sends me message 😭
I downloaded sound assistant for android so I can manually control all my audio and their balancing on my phone so when I listen to music the ping is like at 20% or lower
I literally couldn't stand it and was like THERE HAS TO BE A SOLUTION and yes- look up "sound assistant for android apk"
It's been a year and I live in peace
There's a setting that stops that from happening? I have all my notifications on silent and it still turns down music, was definitely not an active choice. Then I keep forgetting to check settings
aye I read it straight after I posted sorry I had a burst reaction just when I saw it, it just came out of me, I'm one of those who have wrought my own suffering 💀

Oh thank god I'm not the only one.
ANYTHING that so much as interrupts my normal makes we wanna get violent. In my head. Because I don't act out my violence. Just imagine them.
Hypersensitivity is both a lovely creativity-inspiring blessing...and an awful horrible miserable curse.
I'm an audio hypersensitivity person so phone is on silent as a default.
