Potato salad, mac 'n cheese & cornbread aren't part of my family's Thanksgiving, so you can take all three of those.
True story, I was away 20+ years & when I moved back home, Mom had CHANGED SOME RECIPES. So after my first T. back, she always made small servings of the originals just for me! 😋
Ahhhhhhhh okay okay. I was confused because the innanet said that “stuffing” is cooked inside the turkey and I was like “but Stove Top is specifically not”.
Valid, but consider this. Have you ever heard someone say they didn't want any potato salad at a proper cookout, function? But there's at least one kind of pie someone hates.
Ham of course. That stuff is nasty... I don't know how an animal that can give us the gift of bacon can turn around and curse us with ham but it's outrageous and the biggest argument against there being a god-like creator of the world.
Gtfoh with the potato salad (potatoes are mashed, always), the ham (what do you think this is, Easter?), and the mac and cheese (it’s Thanksgiving, not some random day of the week where dad has to cook supper while mom is out). Missing squash and another veggie like Brussels sprouts or carrots.

Otherwise pies…
I still have PTSD.
I can do without it unless it’s by fam that’s certified 🤣
