I discovered @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com on Twitter the year he won the Newberry for Coraline - everybody was so excited for him. He reacted graciously and authentically; I liked that about him & read Coraline then American Gods & his other books. He was one of the 1st people I followed on BlueSky!

I discovered @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com at school because we studied Coraline at our literature lessons. But at that time I was focused on my exams and didn't even read the book. Years later I became Good Omens fan it occurred to me that I already know Neil. I guess now I NEED to read Coraline!
