Is this statistic adjusted for population size? I means I’m certain it is true but can you cite empirical evidence supporting this? And I mean a study in a juried, prestigious journal.

Not just medicine The Asian Association for Social Psychology was founded by Asian/ Asian-American social psychologists partly because they weren't getting published, etc. in existing journals. They publish the Asian Journal of Social Psychology with Asian researchers and Asian population datasets.

Another way to say it is we appear in editorial boards DESPITE being non-white! Which makes the effort and the merit that much greater! That does not address the inequity of longer times under review or fewer citations, unfortunately!

To this I would like to say; is this my white privilege? Is it truly beneficial for me there is a system which raises whiteness instead of brilliance?
I definitely do not think so. Brilliant brains being on boards and being cited regardless of outer appearance in what I want.

This pattern keeps recurring in many fields and contexts. I know of many people whose careers are stuck because of this. What frightens me is in many cases, these are deliberate behaviours. It's not unconscious or subconscious in any way. If confronted, they'll feign ignorance & gaslight you.
