One of the eeriest films about encroaching fascism ever made. In the film that character was played by Gerard Depardieu. Riveting. Suspenseful off the charts. Completely realistic dichotomy. There are no dogheaded men in it. This just equates the men with their dogs that gradually become oppressors.
