C. S. Lewis, just keep going

You can buy any book you are looking for on the internet. But we need physical, independent bookshops because that is where you discover the books you were not looking for, and never knew you needed.

Nice.

You guys have fun with it tho. "And for those reasons, I'm out"

This also works with Steve Bannon. Disgusting behavior

Says the guy who won't even respond to the mothers of his own children

God this is all so, so dumb

Kinda want to hear what he says next, feels like this video left off some additional analysis and thought that went into the (right) decision.

If it's any consolation @simturner.bsky.social, has to be one of the weakest #1 seed performances in the round of 32 that I can remember.

He's not wrong. Running Back shelf life in the NFL are notoriously short. I want him in Buffalo but he's got a window to get paid and I don't blame him for playing hardball. #GoBills #BillsMafia

It gets more disturbing by the hour www.cnn.com/2025/02/21/p...

All I want is for publications to charge me one price for my monthly subscription. Like @economist.com is a great example. Maybe you find a deal for $26 for 26wks and then it jumps to like $229/yr. One is too low and the other is too high...can't we just work something out in the middle??

Great thread on how libraries benefit authors and how we should all support our local libraries.

No notes

We are so cooked.

These people are the worst. 40yrs working her ass off and this is how they treat her.

Bad day to be a momentum stock. The IBD 50 ($FFTY) was down 7.4% Friday alone and 12% on the week. OOOF.

Two things can be true: 1) Cotter is great and fits the band really well and 2) 2019-2023 Goose is every bit as good as 2024-25 Goose.

I don't know Janet Mills but mad respect...

OK, i'm not breaking any new ground here with this observation, but what are the credit card companies *actually* charging for an $80 swipe? In the year 2025 with all these supposed advances in digital payments, how is this still a thing?
