He’s been the front-runner from day one. I was rooting for Wikler, but Martin has done an excellent job in Minnesota. He’s focused on winning back the working class.
as a Republican, I do not believe Democrats are serious. You need a plain speaker screaming, cursing if needed , in real time disputes crap and dangerous schemes. Doubt that will happen Mr. T knows how to handle the media so much better.
Actually I agree as a non Republican. I want someone who reflects my values but communicates less like a corporate CEO. In my opinion, most Americans agree with basic liberal values but don’t resonate with the communication style so don’t realize they agree.
For everyone saying “who,” this is the guy who helped keep Minnesota blue after things went pear-shaped in 2010. It’s partly because of his organizing efforts that they have universal school lunch and marijuana legalization. Personally I’m happy with it.

I’ve met Ken, not Ben. Ken has done good work in MN. Remains to be seen if he’s a brawler and street fighter or if he’ll bring policy papers to a gun fight.
Ken was previously elected to run the Association of State Democratic Committees, which automatically gave a Vice-Chair seat in order to represent and advocate for the state parties. He is a man of the people and his election today shows that the “outside the beltway” thinkers won.
In my opinion, this is a bad choice. A middle of the road guy. Not a great speaker, not much fire. Watch his speech and then watch Malcom Kenyatta. Malcom spoke, and I was hooked.

Gov Walz did endorse him I didn’t like that Clyburn did too, but learned that Schumer & Pelosi endorsed Winkler (who I also like). As long as Citizens United exists we will have to use billionaires on our side. Both have billionaires. Both are big on fundraising. We need UNITY & with purpose.
