My unpopular Star Trek opinion is that "Star Trek: Picard" sucked.

My unpopular Star Trek opinion is that Ezri was a better-written Trill character than Jadzia. Love JD but Ezri was someone who behaved like she was actually in that crazy situation; she was HERSELF while saddled with other people’s memories. JD was often JUST those memories with little of herself.

yeah, I'd agree with that opinion. "gee, you hate this as an episode, but how about as an entire season?"
Like, easily a worse piece of Trek than the one where Paris and Janeway 'evolve' into salamanders.
Like, Alex Kurtzman, do you even know what TONE is, you fucking hack?
"Picard" is one of the worst Star Trek shows ever produced. The character on that show is *not* the Picard from the shows, or even the movies.
It rejects his calm, professional, diplomatic leadership in tough moral quandries for an old, dimwitted buffoon.
He's literally a passenger in his own story. The most celebrated captain in Starfleet relegated to be shuttled around like a delivery.
The show struggled to form a purpose for existing, ultimately resulting in a parade of wimpy, nostalgia bait fan service. I hated it.

Idiots.
However it has nothing on Star Wars.
