In politics clarity is its own opportunity. The storm of the 2024 election has created great clarity. The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, and 3rd richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, are currently asking a group of Trump judges to end the right to organize & join a union in the United States.

Basically union members voted at same rate for Harris as Biden
The Bulwark guy thinks it’s 1984, and even 1984 wasn’t 1984.
As much as there were aspirational working class people who bought into Reagan’s “morning in America,” drivel, there were far mor who watch him gut the air traffic controllers and went, “Fuck that guy.”
That alone speaks volumes.
Maybe they hate the system, but they'll sure miss it when it's gone.
Most union members believe their union rights are God-given, like the sunrise. Also, they don't care about workers not in THEIR union.
Unions have succeeded in the US by necessity. Not because the majority of US workers understand or support the ideas behind them.
