Please arm yourself with knowledge. Birthright citizenship is not a policy choice it is a constitutional imperative (14th Amendment). It can no more be signed away by Executive Order than the First Amendment.

The cruelty is the point
Good catch.
The caveats here are the pardon, and that someone else has to hold those lawbreakers accountable. We've seen how well the DoJ is at doing the latter.

It could be that the original intent thought POTUS & VPOTUS were covered by the impeachment clause. I just don't know for sure.
"No person...having previously taken an oath...to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof."
And yet, SCOTUS ignored this.
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens..."
If only there was a state or a court empowered to enforce the Constitution
I should say, nothing is illegal that they don’t want to be.
And things that weren’t illegal become that way if the criminals in charge want it.
Oh, and we're going to end up with a 7-2 Supreme Court for the next 40 years.
That’s not a legal theory; it’s a fig leaf on an illegal power grab.
A) Acting unilaterally, incl. violating the Constitution;
B) Sabotaging bipartisan cooperation for political gain;
C) Doing all of it in an atmosphere of racism and xenophobia.
