I don't think its a crazy ask for people to stop actively sabotaging the brand! People are, of course, free to say no, but it would be nice if someone, somewhere, had something nice to say about Dems every so often. Or at least give them credit for when they do things people want them to do.

I will say that it's frustrating that annoying college kids can be tied to Federal officeholders but somehow GOP moderates (back when they existed) seemed to suffer much less harm from the actions of actual colleagues. Nothing Yggy suggests would resolve this, of course.

To be fair, Matt has done this on policy - he thinks they should've been where they were on immigration in 2024 in 2021, not done as much stimulus, and rejected certain policy changes when it comes to Title IX and other things. Obviously, he's wrong, but he will say where Biden went too left.
