the thing is that not only are there going to be zero consequences for the entire Trump national security team doing this on Signal, they're not going to stop doing it either

Still disappointing the journalist didn't stay on. The admin was very vocal about their disdain for Europe in the chat, give it a few days, I'm sure you would've seen open disdain for half of America's population.
Like, Americans have clearly showed we can ignore a population half-way across the world being murdered for imperialistic reasons. Vance/Hegseth saying they hate the American people or the working class still probably wouldn't have repercussions but it'd be much more damaging.
They may even embed more friendly journalists (which is what Goldberg is insofar as support for Israeli imperial/military objectives goes) into their group chats.
This would have been positive PR if they just told Goldberg in advance to join and stay mum until after the strikes.
I sense that Goldberg would still not play along then, unless they were very clever/subtle about roping him in, precisely *because* he would object to important anti-Hamas efforts having such loose security
Dude is an entrenched part of the national security establishment. I'm sure he'd be honored to have even a whiff of an official role in Zionist war planning.
Right, but even as he supports that particular horrible regime, I sense that he still thinks in terms of professionalism and division of labor. Like, if I were a big sports fan I don't think I'd jump at the chance to literally join a pro team, precisely because I'd know that would be bad for it.
if they moved to actual secure networks then America might find out what American foreign policy is and they would face much more serious consequences than they would if they fixed the problem
Which part of the chat content would the FP blog find offense? The lack of any Israeli flag emojis celebrating the strikes? The idea that the Egyptians and Europeans would have to pay for them? No mention of sending Israel a bill (obvs)

See attached for participants, some of the laws, broken and my letter to Senate intelligence agency and Senate armed services committee members
I would especially like to see Miller removed
