I love this both because it was an awesome scene, and also because to make his lightsaber the first thing the rebels saw, Vader had to dim his suit's control panels. Peak theatrics going on there.

Favourite moment: This film while showing a victory for our protagonists, didn’t shy from having our heroes not walk away from their big mission, despite being successful. The good guys won, but at great cost. This made it poignant and all the more impactful for their actions.

The Death Star is scarier in this than every other movie (including alternative super weapons like Starkiller base). Same with the stormtroopers. Even Vader. Not the best, but certainly the scariest. This movie isn't afraid to show a competent Empire.

Oh man, just one thing? There’s so much to love about this movie. If I had to pick though, it’s Scarif. The juxtaposition of a beautiful beach locale with a vicious battle on the ground and space looks so great on screen.

Favorite is all 133 minutes. The most recent rewatch though, the framing in this shot in particular stood out to me. The landscape focal guiding towards Jyn's head, her facing a fog covered horizon on her own. As Adam Driver would say, this is all "good soup"

So yeah, I'm very much looking forward to Andor. And yeah, guess that shows I'm an Empire fan. LOL But these are some of my favorite rebels, just love the soundtrack, and it makes me love ANH a lot more, since R1 and ep 4 is basically one long story put together. (ESB was always my fav before R1)
