On that terrible day, at least Americans had no doubts about which side their leaders were on. We should cherish these next 41 days. After January 20th, we won’t be so fortunate.

We had intel prior to 9/11, but again, US didn’t think it would happen.
So, we saw 2016 - 2020, and AGAIN ignored the intel. 🤦♀️

I’m lucky bc my parents set a great example. When I (a little white girl) was being bussed to desegregate the middle schools, they told me it was my duty as an American to help make our country live up to its promise. A powerful lesson.
