Here's to Jimmy Carter, a great man who the country did not entirely deserve. He also, not coincidentally, appointed my Father-in-Law to be a federal judge, which is a reminder to me that people of integrity who love the law & believe in justice can fill those positions & make us a better country.

Feeling pretty sad right now.
#JimmyCarter
I'm so ashamed of how this nation persecutes good presidents and fawns over sleazebags.
Reagan did what?
Trump did what?

He was a president and he was a mensch! Jimmy Carter embodied his Christian values, not in empty rhetoric, but in his everyday deeds, well beyond his Presidency. In this time where the world is descending into darkness, we will miss you and genuine goodness!
He represented a better America and a hope for the future.
Camp David Accords (1978) – Carter brokered a historic peace agreement between Egypt and Israel, leading to a lasting peace treaty between the two nations. It is considered one of the most significant diplomatic achievements of the 20th century.

Rest easy President Carter and thank you.🍃🌹🇺🇸
He deserved to be honored. He certainly will be now. I have to admit I thought the same thing when I heard of his passing.
President Jimmy Carter was the kind of president for the people your dad will NEVER be.
He was simply a humble and good man.
accomplishments was to bring Israel and Egypt together to establish a lasting relationship that stands to this day as both countries have embassies in each other’s country. May his soul rest in peace in eternity along with Roselyn in heaven.
I voted for Carter.
I would sure be nice to spend those days remembering what a real American President was like.

To dig so far
To resurrect a Monster
Pry it from the tar
Raise the Monster high
Denigrate the Saint
Laud the Monsters lies
Make the Monster great
An Angel walked among you all
To show you how to live
And no one will heed the Angels call
Don't live to take
Just give.
RIP Jim
(And, yeah, I know: Fat chance.)
