The brain drain in that state is staggering. The population is so dumbed down it is unrecognizable from the Iowa we once knew. Propaganda is very very powerful in rural areas. Since the agrichemical industry owns the entire state government and has for a long time, the ag pollution is ubiquitous.

Normally after a Recession, which I’m pretty sure is coming if not here already, some manufacturing jobs do come back after layoffs, companies folding, whatever the case, only they pay about 1/3 of what they used to pay and the Cost of Living has gone up Greatly
