Not arguing but I think it was Volcker who brought in Reagonomics, triggering a terrible recession? Didn’t that recession allow Volcker and his ghouls to gut the U.S? Thatcher and her gang did the same in the UK. Neither nation has ever recovered. Like Trump, Reagan was a puppet.

Reagan gutted the federal bureaucracy in the early 1980s and, an half century later, our nation’s capacity to function never recovered. That, not some imaginary red tape, is why NEPA never works for expediting projects.
