yeah but then everyone has to kinda reinvent the wheel by building their own storefronts. however this wouldn't really work on atproto right now anyways without data access controls which is still in the works
Let me expand my thoughts. Bandcamp actually has a social aspect which I use as an artist. But it still feels like an e-commerce platform from 15 years ago. I think there are avenues to explore to increase the music discovery and communities around local scenes and genres. Happy to talk directly.
