What’s everyone having for dinner. I’ve got a little spinach dal simmering on the hob. Going to shred some sweetheart cabbage in too. Might chop some pepper in too. A massive stuffed mango pancake for pudding. No booze.

Oh a dal too. With roasted sweet potato & onion stirred through.
Lots of toppings.
Probably fruit & yoghurt for after… (stuffed mango pancake sounds incredible) no booze either x
Spicy chicken wings from the local Indian restaurant, peshwari naan, Cobra lager. Like the great big kid I am. For dessert I shall be shampooing my beard before tucking into a Fry’s Chocolate Cream. Like the…etc.
Veggie enchiladas with the kids. Sweetcorn, peppers, spring onion, coriander, garlicky sauce, heaps of cheese. Bit of salad. Tap water. Kids had sweets for pudding (him, parma violets; her, a Maoam).
I dissolved anchovies in their oil, added a tiny bit* of butter, sweated leeks low and slow, parted the seas and added two eggs. Parsley on top, toast on the side. Large glass of red. YES PLEASE.
We had butterflied leg of lamb, roasties, veg and oh my deity gravy. Finished with a family style chocolate brownie pudding, home made milk ice cream and biscoff drizzle. Children and hubs in food coma!
Wow everyone 's food sounds delicious. We're having chicken in the oven ( from yesterday as it's just the two of us) , some small potatoes and broccoli. Not extraordinary exciting. But I have to reduce my carbs .
I want yours!!
I’ve got a salmon fillet I’ll roast and one of those big microwave pots of veg / peas, sweetcorn and broccoli with some seasoned butter so I’ll have that.
Used the leftover beef from last night’s brisket to make a curry with onions, red peppers, tomatoes, chillies, ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander and cardamom. Delicious.
Yum! I am having confit duck with green beans, baby carrots and La Ratte potatoes. All because I have a particular Pinot Noir I want to drink, and duck seemed like a good match
honey soy five spice glazed chicken with steamed garlic bok choy and brown jasmine rice. trying to make things very specifically for the boys who both need to eat more if they’re going to be big and tall.
Love spinach dal, as you know. Hope your dinner was delicious. After an afternoon walk around Nunhead Cemetery in the sunshine and a pint at the Ivy House, we are concocting some sort of garlicky-leek pasta. G&T. Red wine.
Oh, just discovered some cavolo nero in the fridge, so that is going in too. Sliced spring onions leftover from lunch, pinch of chilli flakes and a Parmesan rind.

We're barbecuing chicken wings (marinated in garlic and ponzu) and oven fries, with succotash. Pistachio ice cream for pudding.
