I’ve found that people in “elite” positions of power often crumble when they face a tiny amount of pushback, criticism, or god forbid, the type of online abuse and harassment that many of us deal with regularly. They also conflate the two and use their power to suppress legitimate criticism

This applies to all bullies, as I discovered on the school playground when I was eight. Bullies bully in an effort to try and cover up their cowardice.

As for the higher ups in the private sector, all the ones who immediately axed their DEI programs need to have some push back pieces written about them.
