Your phone is better than most digital photography equipment in existence 20 years ago. Just do it. Not having the kit (in the case of photography) is just a way for your brain to lie to you about what you're allowed to do.
Totally fair. You can start getting into digital photography with any cheap camera, learning composition and catching good shots doesn't require bleeding edge tech.
Rent lenses and bodies at New York Camera on Street Rd, that's where I rented some lenses when I had a gig and they are AMAZING. The one lens that I always rented is like $1000. The weekend to rent the same lens was like $50 :)
Have you considered hitting up some local parks and trying to find/ID mushrooms (pls don’t eat)? Geocaching (do ppl still do that?)? Both lend themselves quite well toward photography, and depending on the park, perhaps some light mountaineering as well 😁
Plausible. I too have seen a pen like that and it costed so much more. I can't remember the price, but if I were to get it, I would have to take a loan, and I don't want to go into debt.
I have five pens, most expensive was $31, cheapest was $6. They feel so much nicer than ballpoint pens, and the $31 one feels nicer than gel pens. And the non fancy inks are about the same price as a pack of gel pens so I don't feel bad. But some of those $400 pens and $50 inks...
