The Bible has a lot to say about being rich, and about how you treat those who are poorer than you and none of it is good news for Musk. Also, an Old Testament twist? Like, does he understand that the new testament is supposed to supersede the old?
Also, most of the folks who follow the Old Testament generally don’t dogmatically stick to the most oppressive, far-right interpretation of the text possible. Like, IIRC being free to argue with God against rules that suck or aren’t relevant anymore is kind of an established thing?
I was just thinking that myself. There's so much recourse to "it's in Leviticus" or some other superceded text among the bigots and oppressors that invoke Xtianity as a shield. Of course, they never mean the bits about not eating the food they like, or wearing the clothes they want.
