It sucks that it took destroying twitter, which had some real public benefits that have not been replicated elsewhere yet, but if this is what finally clues everyone into the fact that Musk (and hopefully by extension other billionaires) are not actual geniuses we need to listen to, it's a win.

He turned out to be right that Twitter could function while spending a fraction of what it was spending. He has yet to prove it can survive with a fraction of the revenue.
