That’s ok. I once literally printed a page full of various punctuation marks and gave them to a co-worker for Christmas and told him to “feel free to use these. I can always get you more”

This may be extremely and cause lasting reputational damage, but it sounds like block capitals may have been justified.

I've used them once or twice at work in the past when I felt it was important that a particular point was taken on board.
