Took me a while to find this. Having this specific setting only be outside of the settings area is a little odd.

I really, REALLY like it here, but some of the settings that are switched on by default hold back the experience. Thankfully I had already found this one and turned it off.

Click the little gear icon on the notifications page itself. It's not in the main settings page for some weird reason.

I guess I understand why this would be a thing, but also it feels like it'd cause "bubbles" to form in the social graphs

Seems like they need a tabbed Notifications view (kind of like Twitter had for DMs) if they're going to do this
