but would say many of the folks involved here are super influential in the anti offshore wind space

I worked in the utility wind industry for many years and lost my job right after the 2016 election results as the company I worked for, pulled out of the U.S. knowing their permits and developments would all stop. To say I detest senile Trump, is a massive understatement!!

History of US energy policy is that it develops technology but then administrations change & don't take technology to scale. Overseas competitors subsidize their industry & dominate manufacturing. Boeing & NASA built initial large turbines in Goldendale WA in 1980s.
