My cat has this weird thing where if she's laying from left to right on my chest, she makes biscuits on my forearm. There are always a few pinprick scabs from her ministrations. But, she also likes to lay from right to left and has never once made biscuits on my left forearm.
When I adopted my 6mo old shelter cat (est age 4 mo old because she was tiny) biscuits and air biscuits were essential to her settling down. She would wake up every half hour by my hip, purr and make biscuits, then allow herself to believe she was safe and go to sleep. Now she knows she is safe.
Looks like she might be having an affair with that blanket… my cat Layla had an affair with a stuffed frog one of my kids made in home ec years ago… that poor frog…
