Hopefully we will start seeing people set up some step by step tutorials for setting this up on specific common domain hosts.
I’m the wrong person to ask because I do this for a living, but… if it doesn’t work sometimes it’s you and sometimes it’s them. The tech gibberish usually matches.
User: WTF? [goes to DNS management form]
Form: create new record, includes a dropdown that says “A record” as well as other stuff. Pick that.
Bluesky: Paste this in the A record blank.
User: pastes, clicks save
Bluesky: When it’s finished saving click this.

The only trouble is that the old handle then becomes free, so you might need to grab it on a 2nd account.
