"Don't Engage, Just Block" - Now more than ever!

The troll accounts are skyrocketing on @bsky.app right now. My advice is to not interact with them, just block them. If they say something bigoted report them, then block them. If they’re commenting on your post, you can hide their reply so other people don’t interact with them. #DontFeedTheTrolls

I think a lot of bot makers have learned to post dem content so that when you look at their profile you get confused. I do also block defeatits and cynics. We need hope, passion, drive. Don't comply ever!

I also tend to block any account that posts the big blocks of fear inducing text in a picture with no alt text, pretty sure most of these are bots as they all post the same pictures

I blocked yesterday. Someone decided my experience as a female in this world was less than that of another group. I empathize with the other group but it doesn’t eclipse my experience.

Yeah, there is nothing to be gained by engaging with trolls. That lizard brain itch to try to knock them down a peg leads nowhere. Deny them your time, energy, and attention.

Well I block after weirdness. ( or if I’m in a bad mood) another suggestion is to pay attention to the narratives. ( not talking about a bot attack-then defend by blocking) it can help knowing what the current “ response points” are
