I've noted before I'm more political on Threads, more "backstage" here, and more nerd-and-tech-oriented on Mastodon. I've discovered it's useful for me to have these different focuses on different social media. If the fall of Twitter taught me anything, it's that there's no One App To Rule Them All.

I think it's healthy to have different places to outlet different things. It provides an escape if you need a break from talking about something. I think a large part of social media being such a hellscape is that every network tries to be everything for everyone.
