Your book remains the only scifi book I've read where consciousness maintains continuity during a body transition, allowing the person to dodge all those questions about identity, being duplicated, the original being killed, etc. Nice.

Got this on my reading list! Unfortunately due to the election result it's dropped from #3 to something like #89. Prioritizing nonfiction right now, I have a lot of learning to do if I'm going to effectively do my small part to help get us through this.

That new cover is fantastic.

And you know a book is a classic when it’s been reissued with at least 3 or 4 different thematic covers. I still remember getting started with Stephen King in the late 90s with all the “#1 Bestseller” covers.
