I think Will is often correct but I think he’s misread this. “Trump take egg” does not seem to be used to try and persuade people but to just joke at our absurd situation.
I mean, he is. The only issue that it’s often just so obviously correct that it’s weird that it’s controversial. He’s not uniquely brilliant. It’s just that he’s often fighting people with no grasp on reality
Hes not. The economy has been teetering on failing for several years. Look at new cars and yime on lot. Trump's gonna shove it over the edge, but the point is its been on the edge.
My point is we didnt get to this spot with decades highwater marks for repos, low #s of car sales, record high prices for homes, etc etc etc in the ~4 months since the election alone. This has been a slow burning, smoldering conflagration for years and will refused to acknowledge it.
I mean, he often states factual things and then draws the wrong conclusions, or he draws conclusions that *seem* implied by the data but the selection of data creates blindspots to the real conditions. Occasionally, he'll make a point that seems way better than what he's usually capable of.
And then other times he's being like "The Left is so mean😡" and complains about Leftists not wanting to work with Liberals, the whole time actively ignoring compassionate invites for "big tent" collaboration from Leftists and instead supporting the idea that Dems need to punch left harder.
I really don't think the people saying "Trump take egg" on the app where people generally block all rightoid dipshits are trying to reach and sway an audience of rightoids
Y'all can have either
• Stancil earnestly thinks the point is to persuade people, and he's being a dingus
or
• Stancil is over-explaining a joke that he knows isn't meant to persuade people, and he's being a dingus
Ok but the originator of the meme is, right now, trying to explain why it works and will be effective. So both he and Will seem to disagree with your take.
