I’m obviously in favor of a strong US security posture, but cutting nondefense spending by 23% and RAISING defense spending by 13% is an egregious misappropriation of taxpayer dollars.

There’s a point where more defense spending is largely redundant, and we’re there.

Breaking news: The White House released a partial budget proposal Friday calling for $163 billion in cuts to federal spending in the next fiscal year, pushing reductions to health care, education and many other government programs while boosting spending on defense and homeland security.
