I wholeheartedly support productions of JCS that piss annoying people off by casting talented performers as Jesus instead of pissing *me* off by casting awful singers and embracing antisemitism with both arms (looking at you, 2000 TV movie and subsequent copycat productions)

Overall I support Cynthia Erivo being cast as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar if only because that musical is supposed to piss people off and they were running out of ways to make that happen, everyone was too used to it.
