The problem with "orange man bad" was never that it's not true. Is it not very insightful? Sure. But the facts are that he is orange and he is bad. Can't argue with it.
Almost anything that is otherwise bad to do becomes good to do if you do it to bad people.
This only becomes a problem if you don't believe that "bad people" actually exist or that you yourself can't be the arbiter of that; but that's a fallacy that can be overcome.
Even the stuff that is still not ok to do even to bad people, it's not ok for other reasons, not because you're doing it to bad people. For example misgendering, should not be done even to bad people but only because it's just stupid and simply factually wrong.
Such a stupid take tbh. Insult his appearance all you want. Nobody is getting offended on his behalf except random chronically online people. I saw the same crying over this when people were insulting Mitch McConnell for looking like a literal ghoul.
One thing that is truly maddening about the Trump phenomenon is every aspect of him plays like satire. Like not even subtle satire. Trump is the character in a political cartoon that's going "I'm dumb and so god damn crazy" and somehow we're supposed to make it even more obvious
We should have Truman Showed this man before he even ran for office the first time. Trap him in a fake white house in a fake DC and just record his nonsense. Bonus points if we trap his whole cabinet and extended circle too.
He is, literally speaking, an archetypal Hollywood rich guy villain. As in, the direct inspiration for the bad guys in several movies from the 90s and 2000s. In at least one case it was him playing the character.
I've said this before but looking at pictures from 2016 I don't think he was particularly orange *back then* but now? I expect to hear a "hey apple" with how orange the dude looks.
My theory is his hair has thinned and grayed significantly since 2016 and probably doesn't take whatever dye he uses anymore, which makes him look oranger by contrast
I'm curious about this theory: I compared a picture of Trump in 2016 to one in 2024 as well as an actual orange. Looking at the color attributes we can see mathematically that he has gotten more orange but I still need to compare Trump 2016 to a normal white dude as a control group.
Seeing as the control group needs to be uncontroversial in their generic whiteness, I chose Jack Harlow. Comparing I wanted to find a picture of him under more similar lighting but based on this one he does appear to be actually somewhere between 2016 and 2024 Trump. Not sure how to interpret this.
That 2016 pic doesn't look like as orangey as he was in 2016. So perhaps we have to consider some days were oranger than others. 😩 Like some days I do thick eyeliner and some days I do thin. Maybe if it was a busy day he didn't have time to pile on the layers of orange.
I assume his hue is at least partially due to makeup so that would make sense. Need a larger sample size than I have the energy to do sadly, but someone should do it.
I also want to know who is doing the orange. Is it an aid or himself? What product does he use? That level of orange is kind of hard to find in any foundation/tanner. Makeup shades and technology have improved. That shade or orange tan hasn't been a trend since early 2000s Christina Aguilera.
MAGA are all about gender affirming care. Makeup to make themselves “look” tan, testosterone and shoe lifts to make their men feel more manly; hair dye to hide the signs of aging.

idk it's something you get used to like oh yeah sure he's orange all right. But life is about defamiliarizing yourself, taking a step back and yeah he is very orange!
It’s an irrevocable and obvious truth I continue to return to. He wakes up every day, does that to himself all over again, says “Looks great!” and we’re supposed to win voters who say “Now, that’s the man I want running America!”
Like, if Dr. Seuss or Maurice Sendak wrote a children’s book about how an Orange Man with a golden toilet and the World’s Richest Man with his robot cars teamed up and hoodwinked a nation, we’d be all “tone it down, guys.”
I bet by year four. They're going to start drawing eyes on his eyelids and puppeteer him like in that one Fairly Odd parents episode for every public appearance
I am just asking for a few more jokes. Have a rotation. He ate too many carrots. He looks like an oompah loompa with lifts. Just don't give me back to back Cheeto references I'm begging you

Older than Biden, the famously too old to be president guy, was at his inauguration.
Point taken but no one else on earth looks like Trump

Drives me fucking crazy.
That and the clip of trump spitting on that kid.

He’s also a goofy looking orange dipshit with a weird tiny mushroom-shaped dick.
Both can be true!
Like take a step back for a second and view the situation for what it is, jesus
