current discussion in the McGrath household: the 32" LCD we bought when I first moved in with Vicki (~$1000 in 2006) is starting to die an undignified death and we can replace it with another 32" TV for the cost of, like, a fancy date night or upsize it for, uh, two date nights

(We just went through the same scenario. We upsized though. Eyes can't read the pitch count on smaller than a 40" anymore. 😉)
