Alongside the announcement of the MuppetVision closure, WDW reiterates its plans to "preserve the film and other parts of the experience" though there's no more detail on what that could mean.

I have in mind (will never happen) a complete retheme of the entire animation Courtyard area to Muppets. Three attractions and an indoor playground.

I was thinking maybe bring MV3D back to DCA in the Sunset Showcase Theater where Mickey's PhilharMagic currently is, because the theater was built for THAT show specifically. Whether it be as its own attraction or on rotation with PhilharMagic, I'd love to see the show return there.

Oh totally. In my build-out of DCA (https://parklore.com/main/buildout-dca) that whole area gets the Muppet wrap! I just think realistically that space will probably be bulldozed for Pandora, so isn’t a good permanent solution. 😞

I pictured that whole area, except the main HL street and the theater, to be turned into a new Springfield area since I heard a rumor that Disney is interested in bringing The Simpsons to their parks once Universal's contract expires in 2028. I just think the Simpsons would fit better than Pandora.

The rest of Hollywoodland, including the theater that would house both MV3D and PhilharMagic, would remain the same.

To me, Muppet Labs feels like an excellent wrap, especially in the context of a jangly Space Age Tomorrowland that’s a sweet, nostalgic reflection of the ‘60s and ‘70s! Pigs in Space Mountain next door! 🤣

It would definitely work in Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland, possibly if Laugh Floor moves out/over to Hollywood Studios.

If Tomorrowland got a makeover to tweak the overall theme, it could work. But also... part of me is against it because it just feels like a stretch to me. 😅🙈
