I had been following Laura High on TikTok. She talks about how donor conceived children are treated as products. Which is the more extreme version of treating all kids this way.

Oh well THAT I agree with! I was a foster child and have fostered/adopted. I've seen some pretty awful opinions about "kids giving gratitude" with this and it's bullshit.

I’m a small-town notary. It is all I can do to hold my tongue every fall when I have to notarize parents’ “religious exemption” forms to keep their kids from being vaccinated. Especially when I know that 1) no mainstream religion bars vaccination and 2) these people aren’t actually religious.

As a notary, I am only attesting that the signatory’s identity has been verified. I try to keep in mind the court clerk in Kentucky who illegally refused to issue a marriage license to a gay couple and remind myself that I don’t want to be like her.

Not getting one’s children vaccinated is child abuse, and should be prosecuted. But don’t hold your breath - Attorneys General are too ignorant (or immoral) to prosecute astrologers and homeopaths for fraud. So avoidable childhood disease and fraud are openly permitted…even approved of.

The doctors have to follow it, apparently. I have to take him to court to get my kids vaccinated and hope it's a reasonable judge. 😡

There's a church graveyard in Oregon full of gravestones for dead children. The Followers of Christ parents were refusing any medical treatment for their children. The state finally passed a law to put a stop to this.
