Grassley and Ernst recently formed the whistleblowers caucus in the Senate. To the extent there's pushback in Congress that matters, it will have to come from Republicans.

And also keep in mind that some Senate Republicans, who either want his seat as judiciary chair or are concerned about his independence, are raising questions about his age as a stalking horse to push him aside for someone more pliant.
Hard to believe, we watched both vote to confirm a person who is not qualified on many levels with credible information from essentially whistleblowers…it would be for show
Senate caucuses, as you know, can be useful organizing instruments. Its members sit in key positions and can publicly or quietly exert their influence.
Yes, I do. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, or with being on even lots of caucuses. Just, I eye-rolled at her _starting_ _two_ caucuses in one Congress. Maybe I had a staffer flash-back. That said, she is up in '26.
If those two formed a "whistleblowers caucus" it is done to aid in outing whistleblowers. Between them they do not have one decent bone in their two bodies.
