De minimis exemption was already closed for China but there is also some brutal increases in the tariff rate for small packages to avoid companies just shipping direct from China to consumers to avoid the 104% tariff on traditional exports

Wonder if there's going to be a big spike in US Customs/USPS auctions of uncollected packages this autumn - bargains galore on the backs of consumers who never received/dumped/couldn't pay to clear their already paid-for purchases?
Serious question: If I live near a border, can I get a P.O. box and have my items from China shipped to me there? At a 90-109% markup, it'd be worth the occasional drive.
i meant everything else on that insane chart (e.g. 46% on vietnam and 24% on japan) but my question was answered elsewhere--naptime will not come and the tariff otaku will not be denied his tariffs!
Can you "join a club" for, say, $100 per month where you get a weekly club newsletter, and based on the newsletter items you "like" the club sends you a free gift?
Also, could you send someone a "gift" to essentially have them charged a duty?
Is this on top of the tariffs? Like if you're a company where the product (say a keyboard) is made in China and it's shipped from there to the US to you, is the price increase 104% due to the reciprocal tariffs and then also that duty rate?

Do you suspect it will be COD? A bill attached by USPS? Or billed ahead of release from customs? By what mechanism?
I suppose he stockpiled?
