Firemen saved my life and that of my dog, Winnie. Winnie, who was not a barker, woke me up by frantically barking. I went downstairs and stepped outside and that is when I knew the flat was filled with gas. They gave both me and Winnie oxygen and we were ok. I baked cookies for those guys for years!
My local fire department outfitted all the rigs at each station with pet style masks so they can help our four legged friends too! Hoping the place I'm moving to have them. If not, a fundraiser will be happening!
My entire house could be gone and I wouldn't even notice if they saved my dog. Without Buttercup who would get me through any loss? Shes my goofy little rock.
