Unsurprisingly I remain sceptical of Anduril's claims for the Copperhead torpedo variants. The claimed top speed of 30 knots (">30 kn" in Anduril's own PR) is too low for a modern torpedo of any sort.

The Sharrow propeller seems more gadgetry than tangible feature.

The one thing I can offer for consideration is torpedoes are recovered from training use and refurbished for a certain number of uses before being configured as warshots, which is unique among munitions (eg we don't 'reuse' training artillery shells)

That complicates any stockpile discussion
