This is Star Wars (derogatory). It veers back and forth between science fiction and outright magic/fantasy. I’m not an AI expert but if they’re only a quarter as bad at AI as they are at military process engineering, DoD shouldn’t be doing business with them. Period.

Ok, so this WOTR piece ruined my evening, so some writing therapy/rant🧵: As a personal rule of thumb, if someone sells you a magic tool able to completely solve a problem/revolutionize a field, he a) either has a really great tool (could be) or b) doesn't understand the problem/field (more likely).

About the only thing I find credible here is the claim that a boxy shape is easier to manufacture. Both of these “weapons” weigh less than the *warheads* of what they claim to replace, and LLOA and 30 knots top speed says you can only hit a target coming towards you. More junk from defense VC.
