The civil war is a really disheartening precedent. Slavery advocates toxified the union for decades, fought a war that killed hundreds of thousands and destroyed the country, assassinated the president, and were unmistakably monsters, cowards and traitors.

and they can't conceivably get a Reagan 84 blowout, the partisanship of the electoral college map is just too strong. you might see like a 350-400 EV win if Dems can get a bunch of teetering light red states (though I doubt it)

there are a few roads past 350 and at the moment the likeliest is probably some combination of Texas, Kansas, Ohio, or Iowa. (I think Alaska and North Carolina are priced in) i mean hell, of that, Texas alone gets you to 360+
