Re the Dep’t of Education : I don’t think people who want it to go away know what it does. Here’s one thing. When we moved from NY to Utah we told the new principal that we wanted to have a 504 meeting for our kid who is a Type-1 diabetic. She said “Why? It’s not like she’s in a wheel chair.” 1/
