This is Bruschi. He's 14 and has flagged down this ice cream truck every week for the past decade. Firmly believes a weekly cone is the secret to a long, happy life. 14/10 #SeniorPupSaturday

Story reminder. When my kids were little & I was broke, I told them that if the ice cream trucks music was playing, it meant it was all out of ice cream. Not sorry. No one wants to tell their kids about disability poverty!
Good for Bruschi, but what really caught my attention was that Mister Softee truck. It looks exactly like the one that used to drive through my neighborhood 65 years ago. I can still smell the exhaust from the refrigerator motors. I didn't know it was still a thing.
Oh they do, and it's hilarious 😂😂😂 Took my dog to a local place that gave her a HUGE bowl, like an actual large ice cream size not the kiddie cone I expected. She tried to scarf that down in three bites and it did not go the way she expected!
This is a Mister Softee in Smithtown, NY who is helping Bruschi on their quest to that long happy life! I hope everyone who is in NY can make sure to throw them some business (you can call them for parties at 516-729-8129, according to the video).
Oh my gosh. My son's elementary school bus driver carried milk bones to give to our dog as she waited for my son to get off the bus. Now, every time she sees ANY school bus she freaks out with excitement! LOL!
My old doggie Jazz would do this too!! He’d hear the little tune and he’d hobble out there! I never taught it to him or anything. Smartest dog I ever had.
Animals are amazing. People try to put them in little boxes about their intelligence or lack there of. But time and time again they prove just how smart they really are. My dog (6) is probably the smartest pet I’ve ever had. He proves day after day with things he just picked up on his own. ❤️
I can’t foresee any danger in this except of course if she doesn’t introduce Lottie as “this is my shark sister. You may want to mind your fingers with her”
I had 2 Papillons who were very accustomed 2going through the drive through at McDonald's, getting a baby cone&fussed over. The last time my little guy with COPD visited, I told them "thank you for your kindness for 12 years, but Tuffy Lee probably won't be back again." He passed the next day, 4/17
Bruschi's unwavering commitment to ice cream and his apparent mastery of the secrets to a long and happy life clearly earn him a rating of 15/10, anything less would be an understatement.
Yes some do get them confused. They’re both very sweet breeds (I’ve owned both). They’re good with children, patient, intelligent, easy to train and sometimes just silly and goofy. It’s rare to find a “bad egg” but inbreeding and human abuse can cause problems with both breeds.

At his age, he deserves a daily cone!
Padddy whack
Give the dog a cone....
Not all of us can get their pants on quick enough for the ice cream van.
Did not know Mister Softee trucks still existed.
Shout out to the ice cream man for being compassionate enough to share his sweet frozen treat with such a valued customer. ❤️
My dog assumed that all USPS trucks were mobile treat dispensers.
My Old Dog thought that every drive-up window was a dog treat dispensary.
Toast of London is amazing.
Thank you.

I mean, it's bad for them but,
So wholesome 😊
Mister Softee!!! I have many fond memories of Mister Softee, pied piper of ice cream.
Now that I am older I can't say his name without smirking.
#WhosTheGoodBoy!!
What a beautiful connection.
Now back to our regularly scheduled horror. 💀
Thank you.
