Still trapped in a Telstra nightmare. Three weeks and they still can’t fix my request. Today’s phone call lasted 53 minutes, had to “authenticate”myself three times. Then the recording of their “terms and conditions” broke down and refused to play. Third World incompetence. Breathtaking.

the 4 of them bought Vodafone, so it isn't a different Co. at all
iiNet is a massive conjob since crooked Teos bought it.
Optus doesn't know WTF they're doing.
And any others simply resell the others so it's the same network anyway.
I know, I've contracted at all of them.
Lists go on & on & the plans would cost 100s or more but speed wud be A1.
Mike had it once, it was fkd, he threw it all out on the footpath for collection as it dropped out ALL the bloody time.
Find something better, you can port your phone number over.

Probably for customers to drink whilst waiting on the phone🙄
Tesla could stop this in a week with the will.
It’s fanciful that they could not have done much more much earlier.
@davidpocock.bsky.social you are Australians main hope on this.
It increases at the same rate as service fees.
Outsourcing to overseas workers to handle ‘problems’ is the main issue . Telstra pays them peanuts and they just pass the problem around in algorithm circles . Hopeless
In the end, he just ignored them.
They all have poor service these days, but Telstra is, by far, the market leader.

So that way, as their internal phone numbers rarely change, no matter what type of problem you have you call Tech Support right off, bypassing the kiddies.
They'll say "It's not our area but we'll put you through to them" & then staff has to answer directly.
5Min call then😉
Then scream loudly like you're dying then hang up".
They'll spend an hour or 2 trying to recreate the problem😁.
If they say no(as they've no idea what they're doing)absolutely insist on it!
Then in future, for any hing, dial 'em directly
I've waited similar time for iiNet(sold to David & Vicky Teo of TPG several yrs ago) & what's particularly galling is after all I went through, when someone finally spoke the call dropped out, deliberately I suspect. 1/2
See if they can port your number, and give you an eSIM faster than Telstra can fix your problem.
It's easy to instantly port to another provider. You don't have to stay there. Port again until you find one you like.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
