My daughter got into UCLA!!!!
She hated school for years, and it was really challenging. I'm so proud of her and how far she's come!

Congrats!
SHE'S NOT SMART ENOUGH TO PICK KANSAS UNIVERSITY...
LOL KIDDING. CONGRATS
Along with that comes great responsibility.
Glad to hear of her success, you are clearly a positive influence in her life. Congratulations.
Go Bruins! πππ
My daughter is autistic and trans and struggled socially for a long time. She was laboring under such an emotional weight that she didn't have the cognitive capacity left for academics.
She also hates studying things that she feels are important or uninteresting. In community college, you're able to have a greater choice of what you study, which has been really great for her.
I also hated school for years, didnβt fit in socially, wasnβt motivated by much of the drivel they wanted me to learn but got two Masterβs degrees in my late 30βs.
Top tip: find a way to leverage your particular area of passion into every assignment
Congratulations to your daughter and welcome to the alumni family. We share your pride and wish her all the success.
